Lita Rossana Ford (also called Lita Ford, is an American guitar player and singer born in Britain. She played lead guitar as a member of The Runaways, a hard-rock group comprised of girls in late 1970s. Their punk rock music and provocative lyrics helped them get not only the attention of rock fans but also from the community. Though the group didn't achieve much success in America, they were hugely popular overseas. This was especially true in Japan. After releasing 'Black, in 1995, and then 'Wicked Wonderland, 15 years later she reemerged. The album she released was Time Capsule in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
