Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). She had previously gained recognition as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing turbulent personal struggles against the background of the U.S. attack on Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". She was subsequently selected as one of Variety's '10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. For the film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. In addition, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best female lead".
