Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). She does not have any known siblings. She was in a local high school, and after matriculating in 1955 she studied marine engineering in the Scientific Academy of Milan - Luciana was the sole female in the class. In two years, she began her modelling career. Soon after, she got a chance to be a part of Three Coins in the Fountain while in Rome visiting a close daughter of her father's friend. Brett Halsey is an actress and husband to her in the beginning. The couple got married in the year 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody of the children following divorce. They welcomed a baby boy named Charles which was born June of 1961. Between 1962 and 1970, Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was an actor and producer who was greatly influenced by her performance in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as his own hybrid Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
