Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, performer, as well as a writer. She is most famously recognized by the name of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it popular in the national theatre arena with Li'lAbner's in 1957. The singer also released her debut album of music, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1959 drama. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's pupil. She was able to land her next notable role when CBS hired her to play Ginger Grant. Louise played a wonderful job juggling Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber different characters, which contrasted with her glamorous image that she was perceived as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. Recently, however, she has made a name for herself as the director of several popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved away from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. She settled in Vancouver after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
