Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American musician and popular actress. She was raised by her mother, in the USA. Raised with racial taunts and made to feel unwanted. The confidence started to build at the age of nineteen after she took part in a school audition and was highly praised for her singing. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed her career ambition. At the age of 22, she received her degree from at the Julliard School of New York. She began her career at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and the film You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot she portrayed the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. She gained more recognition for her appearance on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. Also, she is a well-known singer and has published an extended version of her play. As an activist, she is a tireless advocate in the cause of LGBT equality.
